Ross Kemp

British TV host of the acclaimed show "Ross Kemp on Gangs" , which by the way is an awesome and insightful program. Ross travels the world to various gang-plagued hotspots delving deep into their neighborhoods and minds, to see why they do what they do and experience what goes on. He has been in some pretty violent neighborhoods and met some pretty crazy people.

New Zealand-the infamous "Mongrel Mob" Maori gang
St.Louis-explored the rivalry between the bloods and crips
Poland-spent time with Neo-Nazi soccer hooligans
Russia-militant fascist white supremacy groups
Jamaica-tried to find out why 1 person in Jamaica is killed every 6 hours and found its capital city Kingston is controlled by hundreds of different gangs who are at war in the various townships.
El Salvador-MS 13..Mara Salvatrucha, thought to be the worlds biggest and most violent gang.
Orange County CA-the birthplace of American Racist Skinhead movement, followed the police and made contact with Skinheads
London-examined the different ethnic gangs in and around London

Highly recommended viewing and his take on it is one of reserve, incredulation and also trying to find out what leads people to these violent lifestyles. A great Sly ambassador

Yes this is a great programme and I watch it regularly. Ross Kemp became an iconic figure during the nineties in a british soap called eastenders. Search for it on youtube and put in ross kemp.
