Thanks so much guys, your support means a lot to me. I'm going to try and do it this weekend. I'm still pretty nervous though!

I understand how you feel now... it's difficult to take the first step, but once
everybody sees your new look the problems are over...

A way to make it easier for you is to tell everybody that you are going to
try the bald look: this way it won't be a shock, instead it will be expected
so you won't have the typical "Oh my God!" and "what have you done??"
because they already know you are going to do it!.
Actually people will encourage you cause they will get curious!

Good luck and let us know how things will go!  O0

It's funny you mention that because I've already taken those measures. I started a new job about two months ago, and I told a few people that "I shave it all off in the summer time". The way I look at it, I'm halfway shaven anyway (since I shave the top for the hair piece). It's just the sides and back that I need to take care of. I'm supposed to do my weekly "re apply" for my hair piece tonight, this includes removing the piece and shaving the top portion of my dome. We'll see if I have the balls to shave it all off! I want to do it but I'm so nervous.  :o

You know i really think you did a great job with your pic in Photoshop...if you end up looking like that pic (and i know you will) you'll end up BETTER looking than you did with hair!!!

really bro,if YOU think a bald head is an appealing look for other dudes, don't be too hard on yourself...it'll suit you and wait until it gives you BACK any confidence that "balding' took from you...

trust this group of cueballs...you will love it...

Don't be nervous, have fun and get ready to LIVE!!!! O0

If you're nervous, head to a traditional barbershop (not a salon) and tell the guy you want it taken down as tight as he can get it. Once you get home, you can (and probably will) finish it off with your Mach 3. Worked for me after some great advice from the guys on this site. Good luck!

Anyone want to buy a stock pile of hair pieces?  :*)) :*)) :*)) :*)) :*)) :*))

I buzzed it with no guard. Should I take the razor to it or leave it as is? You can see my thinning up front, although I still have a decent ammount of hair left...

I owe you guys! I feel like a real person again.

WOOT!

Looking MUCH better!!!

Just my opinion....  I cut mine like you did yours and left it that way for a week to get a little bit of sun to my dome. Once I had a little bit of a tan - I went to the skin.

From my personal experience - I will be sly from here out.

I'm bald by choice (BBC) and will not be going back to hari with all of the feedback that I've received in the real world!

Great start - keep us posted!

Much better .... and a good start!

Looks great on you!
