Hello everyone,

Thank you all for your good advice.  I finally did what had to be done.  Even though I was lurking in the background, you guys gave a tremendous amount of moral support.

Unfortunately, I wasn't listening to you when I first tried to shave it off - bloody mess.  I let it go for a week, listened to what I was hearing and tried again.  Success!

My wife hates it, but she'll come around.

If you're MPB, I can never understand the hate for the total chrome dome look in comparison?! You're right most do come around though..especially when it gives us such renewed confidence!

Welcome, Paddy.  Glad to see you're enjoying it!  Just give your wife some time.  She'll get used to it.  Can't promise she'll like it, but hopefully she will see the difference it makes in your attitude and self-confidence.
