One year ago this Thursday night, I came home from work, and finally decided that I had enough and I went to my bathroom and shaved it all off.  I had only lurked on the site for about a week and a half.  I had been really frustrated at my hair loss but could never seem to have the b@lls to just do it.  I had probably been thinking about it for well over a couple of years.

I had just accidentally stumbled on to this site one slow afternoon while I was at work.  Once I started reading the posts on here, I just couldn't seem to tear myself away and I inevitably would come back over and over several times a day that first week.

Well, looking back, I honestly can't believe it's been a whole year and like so many others, I just wish it hadn't taken so long.  I want to say a big thank you to all of you that helped push me over the edge a year ago.

I remember it like it was yesterday... that first week when I was posting on the site but hadn't done anything yet.  I recall after one of my first posts, RazorX said something to the effect of "People probably already consider you to be bald, so why not just face up to it and take control of the situation".  That statement was what pushed me over the edge and I want to again say a big "Thank You" to Razor for his words of wisdom.

It's been a great year and I've met so many great people on here.  Thanks again to Tyler and everyone who made this site a success for me!
