It's a party in Lawrence with the Jayhawks win!!!

Hey, guys.  Just wanted to share a pic I have of Lawrence, KS right after the Jayhawks big win.  It's been quite a party mood around here ever since.



For those who don't know,  Lawrence is a relatively small town about 30 miles west of KC.  There's not a whole lot in Lawrence, other than KU.  The whole town is enjoying their 15 minutes of fame.  There's supposed to be a big parade on Sunday down this main street.

Mel, we hadn't planned that far ahead, but yes, I do believe he would love that.  His birthday is on Saturday so this might be a great surprise.

Way to go Jayhawks!!!, I am a Mizzou guy but there is a great rivalry with the Jayhawks and I got to cheer for them when Mizzou is not their opponent....

yeah that was cool. I know Cole Aldrich and his family so that was fun watching a local boy win it big.
