It's about like walking around for half the day with your fly undone, once you realize it, zip up, all is done and your over it. Good luck.

Hey Leathermonkey,

Congratulations on your decision to shave it all off.   I'm sure you'll enjoy the freedom and only wish you'd done it sooner.  Yes, it's a little different showing up at work for the first time, but you'll likely get lots of positive feedback.

Alright you guys.... I showed up to work today shaking in my boots.. hoping nothing too drastic would happen, and that it would be low key. I walk up and there are 4 women I know standing outside. One of them saw me and let out a loud scream. I was like  :o
They bum rushed me and all started kissing the top of my head, laughing. At first I was embarrased... my face started turning red, but my head was still pretty white. Then, I realized that I just got kissed by 4 women, and I havent even clocked in yet! O0

There is something too this you guys! You were right. It was all grins the rest of the day as I watched people's reactions. I'm on day 3 now, and just shaved it again, with just your basic gillete products. I'm going to look into some of these head shaving specific products, and I'll post up a pic as soon as I can. I can see how this is addictive.

Thanks man. One thing I had a question on. Not sure if this is the right place, but at the end of the day my head was looking pretty oily and shiney. I prefer a matte look. Is there anything you would recommend to keep the dome looking freshly washed? I saw the ad for "matte for men". Just wondering what suggestions you may have for a naturally sweaty and oily person. I've also heard baby powder. I guess I'll use that search button I just noticed... lol

Welcome dude.

I have the same problem.  I use headlube matte by headblade.  Then when I use the bathroom throughout the day I just wipe my head off.  You can apply more of the headlube if you prefer, that seems to work just fine.  Welcome bro!!

I buy the baby wipes from Costco, use them a couple times a day, helps with the shine, and feels clean after I use them. Also no alcohol in them.
