Yep, did that a couple of times. I took my shower as usual but didn't shave, and when I got out I changed my mind, so I shaved at the sink. I had to have it smooth and clean.

Oh yeah.  I have a few of them a month.  I just don't feel up it and then I start rubbing the dome and it's like, "Forget this."   ;D

well i do it alot being the hours i work and the time frames i have to deal with ...but i try not to lately ..mine isn't a change my mind...it is can i get in the bathroom long enough....

Very rarely miss a day shaving, most days I shave the head twice, once in the morning and then again in the evening. 

I did try last summer on vacation to let it grow, I made it 3 days and off it came.

I haven't skipped a day shaving yet. I go with the mach 3 turbo in the shower one day and then the electric out of the shower the next day.

I'm suddenly recalling that I had less maintenance with hair....

With a buzz cut, maybe.  But if you're talking about hair that's long enough to comb and style, that is way more maintenance.  Think about how many times a day you'd have to check to make sure it was in place, vs. the ten  minutes it takes to shave your dome now.

today I didn't want to take the the to shave my head but around noon, I couldn't stand it and had to shave it clean

I think I have missed maybe 2 days of shaving in almost 3 years. I have had a few days I thought I would shower and not shave and on the way out the door felt like crap so went to the sink and shaved....
