Dan, that's harsh. Take the lawyer advice to heart and know that we're all here to help you get through this!

Dan,in the future never get involved with anyone who has Bipolar illness. They are never going to change.
Dude, don't go ragging on all people with BP because of a few bad apples. I have a number of friends suffering with this illness and most are great people.

You're right Bootedbear, generalizations are generally wrong, in general.

Agonizing over what cannot be is an insult to what is.

Dan, sorry to hear about this situation bro.  Never had to, and hopefully will never have to, go through something like that.  So I really don't know what to say man.  But I hope it all works out for you and if you need to vent just pm me bro.

Dan, I'm really sorry to hear about your wife.  We're here for you bro!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Thanks to everyone for your support!

I am doing pretty well with it all.  After not sleeping at all Wed. night, I had a great day yesterday.  I worked 12.5 hours, sold 2 cars, got the divorce papers filed and she had her parents drive 100 miles to get here and got all moved out by 10:45 last night.  It was nice to have my house back and to be rid of her clutter.  With her OCD, she was a compulsive shopper and packrat and my house was just jammed with all of her excess things.  She couldn't have her German Sheperd, so she left her here and she and I are having a good time.  I started a job at a different car dealership in town 2 days prior to this and my new employers have been quite impressed that I have performed at a high level and not missed any work despite going through this.  I think my move to a job with better pay made her more envious of me!  She has a great education but couldn't get a job here anymore because of her flighty behavior.

Dan I'm glad your gettin on with this and don't let it ever get you out of it, I know I have had my own hell with ex's it sucks brother but we're here for ya.

Iwas worried that you'd have to go through this and then have to worry about Timmy leaving his shoes in your house and coming steeling all your stuff and or just hanging out when ever. I'm sorry i couldn't resist adding a little comic relief. I know this sucks but keep your head up .

Wise move.

My partner learned that lesson the hard way when he split with his ex-wife. One day when he was at work, she came back and wiped him out.
