Ouch that hurt!
« on: March 19, 2008, 09:31:15 AM »
I just cut myself shaving this morning.  Probably due to a combination of rushing and a blade that should have been changed.   :/O  It's a cut behind my right ear.  Now what do I do??  Do I not shave for a couple days, shave around it, or suck it up?

BTW, ClearHead on a cut burns like hell.  :o

P'Man.... I usually shave around it and then EVER SO GENTLY go over the area just barely touching the razor to it.

The head seems to heal quickly.... probably because of all the blood vessels in the dome.

That seems to be where I like to whack myself too!  :-[

What I do is shave that area with an electric, then I'll hold a finger over it and go slow when I use the HeadBlade.

Sorry to hear man.  Sarge gives some good advice.  Behind the ears are a tricky spot even when using a standard razor.

How big of a cut?? You may be able to shave around it without much notice...that's if you can man up the pain because I know it burns.... p0@^

If only I had been drinking!  I didn't shave yesterday, giving it a day to heal.  It's about a 1/2 inch long but a chunk of sking was missing.  It looks better, and isn't as sore.  I'm going to shave today using Sgt Pate's advice, and see how it goes.  It's amazing how fast your hair grows!

Also... a little Polysporin (SP) will help that heal up a little faster.  ;)

Ouch!  I've gotten myself there a few times.  I usually shave every 2-3 days, so it's not really been a problem for me.  Now, if you're a daily shaver.....there might be an issue.  I have no advice but what has been said already.
