and I think it already made it to Cali. Today was an awesome day as I was able to head to the beach with my wife's hula and Tahitian dance group this morning and hang out in the sun. Then, I got to come home and grill up a great steak. I love spring! I'm very glad that it's finally here.
Here's a pic of my tri-tip on the grill...

So, what are you guys going to do when the spring weather has reached your area?

As I gaze out on the melting, but still there, snow all I can say Tyler is...........I HATE YOU. Just kidding bro...looks great. We actually hit in the 50's here in Northern Illinois yesterday but it is still dreary and just plain messy out there. Wish Spring would get here soon.

Tyler,Tri-Tip Schwarma is great. Next time you are in LA on business, check out a place called Zankou's Chicken. They serve Lebanese/Armenian food.

Was 76 degrees and gorgeous on Saturday and then snowed all day yesterday @ 27 degrees.
That means Spring is right around the corner. Ol' Man Winter usually doesn't leave without a fight.

It was beautiful here yesterday. It topped out at 78 degrees, breezy....but very nice. The sun felt so good beating down on me....im like starved for sunshine.
Steak looked good Tyler, but I must say, I grill out year round. Even a few weeks ago when there was ice coming down...i just stepped out the back door...fired up the grill, went back in while it heated up and prepped the steaks....took em out there seared them first then turned the heat down low and in about 15 minutes or so....foods ready. My kids were laughing at me cause I was standing out there wiht an umbrella and they could see the ice pellets bouncing off the umbrella.......ONLY MY DAD i would hear..lol
Hey when you want a good steak...how else you gonna get it? microwave?? NOT!

I grill all year round as well, but it's nicer to do it in the sun. Though, on the cold days, I just throw them on griddle for a different type of seak.

Beautiful this past weekend in the Sacramento area also. Went and re-filled the propane tanks and am ready for some more grillin (haven't grilled since Valentine's Day). Spent Saturday golfing and Sunday was my son's indoor soccer game (my son Alex set a PR with 8 goals....their team won 13-5

), going on a 4 mile run, and yardwork including replacing a dead tree in the front yard. I'm a little sore this morning.
I'm definitely ready for spring. Supposed to be in the 70's pretty much all week.

Hey Paul,
Is all that snow starting to melt off? That week I was there it was everywhere.
It still is everywhere, it just diminished to about half of what it was. In some places where it was plowed up the piles are still 2 to 5 feet high. And on top of it we are now forecast for another 1-2 inches today. Damn that Groundhog. haha
