As the guys have said give it at least 30 days and the shock from your friends will be gone.
But I gotta say the color of your eyes are awsome in the pic. I have a "friend" that loves the fact that the baby blues stand out more. She claims she feels like she can really see me now, which as long as she is happy, I get what I want  >:D
