I'm a new guy here too, glad to meet you! The guys have really covered everything I think and offered some excellent advice, just try it bro, I've been shaving my head since I was around your age, initially because I just liked the look, now, some twenty odd years on, it's just a part of me, I'd shave even if I wasn't losing my hair !!

It's a weird thing but there's now way you can imagine just how good it feels to take control of your own hair destiny! I absolutely love the "sly" look!
