43 Million Americans have some sort of Irish decent. For me, it is my Maternal Great Grandmother Rooney, she arrived in the United States at the age of 16 from Mullingar in 1932

My mother is from County Galway and I still have aunts and uncles living there.  Been there several times (but not recently  :( ) and have always had a good time there.  Beautiful country and great people.  Welcome to the group
