I mean what does a reservation do?   Send a special cab to O'Hare that waits ONLY for Rob Blackmore?

Basically what happens at that city known as O'Hare International is that there are cabs and limos waiting in special lots on the perimeter and when you call and say you're there for your reserved car they dispatch it and it's there in just a few minutes.

Actually, I found American Taxi before I saw your post....

When went to Chicago last July for the ASI Show, we went into Midway and found a cab right away.  Not hard at all.  The neighborhood though did look a little rough.  But most airports usually are not in the million dollar neighborhoods.  Atlanta isn't in the great part of town either.

Denver Airport is actually about 30 miles N.E. of downtown....out in the rural plains.....surrounded by crops & farmland.
