2008 Convention Questions/Discussion

To keep the original information thread clean I'm creating this topic for all of you to ask questions and discuss the 2008 convention.

Location: Gurnee, it's halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago, so it provides easy access from both airports.

Dates: July 25th through the 27th

Activities:   

Friday - Meet and Greet

Saturday - All day event

Sunday - Potential brunch

My band is playing that Sunday evening; however, it's on the other end of the Chicagoland area and my guess is that most folks will have gone home by then.

Regardless, I can likely make Friday and/or Saturday pending any other gig offers we receive between now and then.

hey fellow chrome domes.... the cubbies will B playing at home against the marlins on july 24-27.  i believe it will B all day games.  that would B pretty cool.  i haven't been 2 wrigley field since i left the chicagoland area.  what do U guys think?  maybe....we can all sing "take me out 2 the ball game".  that would B a site. O0

We're actually looking at the Brewers since the Cubbies ticket prices have gone completely out of control... plus, we can tail gate at Miller Park and since it is a retractable roof stadium, it won't get rained out.

That will be determined once we have an idea of how many people are coming...

So, please post up if you can or plan to attend.  Yooper Paul and I need to have an approximate number so we can find out about tickets, venues, etc.

Is the a forum member only event or are SO's welcome.  It's really unlikely that my wife will want to attend but ya never know.
