You know you're right John, I am just not getting the humor for Little Mosque like I did the first several episodes.  Have to see what new shows bring...Guess I will have to stick with the old stand by of Red Green.  Gotta love his quote  " If women don't find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy" :*))

By the way, did you know that Red Green (aka Steve Smith) is pretty much bald underneath that cap he always wears?  How do you think he'd look as a 'sly guy'?  ....   (((((   kind of hard to imagine ; and cool as he is; I'm not sure 'sly' would work for him . ......   )

Gotta agree with ya John, seeing Steve Smith sly would actually be distracting from his character. Besides he probably knows what I found out:   one big disadvantage of being sly Up North....too easy for deer flies and bugs to get you.   BTW...was a pretty good Little Mosque tonight...back on the subtle humor track.

I think it was a re-run.  was it the one where the doctor/daughter (can't remember her name) had a brief run at romance with the local fireman (with a jealous imam? )

I have heard of this Little Mosque show but I am yet to see it but have heard the subtle humor and satirizing would be right up my alley.

My fav TV show of all time is The Golden Girls(dont laugh) followed closley by the Simpsons.

Dorothy Zbornak(Bea Arthurs GG character) has one of the sharpest ,wry wit of any TV character. She is my muse.

"Little Mosque" is a Canadian production.  Not sure if it's available in the US (its on CBC if you get that on cable) ..

By the way, I love Dorothy too.

LOL...No I will have to check out this web stuff. I really dig the show but I am not that much of a GG freak. HAHA.

I'm probably most like Dorothy. I am caring, love my family, sometimes have a hard luck with things but I try to have a good attitude about things plus I can be a wicked smartass at times.

friends - I know it's been over for a while but I'll always love that show  :)

Scrubs - Zach Braff is a genius

My Name is Earl

Spongebob Squarepants lol

Kath and Kim (crazy Australian show)

Monty Python (ya can't beat 'em!)

and I enjoy  crime documentaries. hmm, maybe not 'enjoy' them, but they absolutely fascinate me!  ;)

I'll also watch pretty much anything that I used to watch as a kid, for purposes of nostalgia!

I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances ~  Martha Washington

When they were good they were GOOD! For some reason season 4 & 5 were the best! I think in season 5 they had the episode when Ross's girlfriend (the new Marsha Brady) shaved her head completely bald at the beach house...very funny! O0

Simpsons is #1.
I miss my X-files, but Supernatural's a close runner up in my book. And somehow I got hooked on smallville.(maybe because of sly anti-hero Lex Luthor)

I like shows that I can miss a few episodes and not be totally lost. I watched through the first two seasons of Prison break religiously, missed 3 nights, after that gave up on following it.

Re:Prison Break, The same thing with me. These new TV dramas are WAAAY to in depth and the continuing storyline makes it hard to enjoy it and follow it if you miss a few episodes.
