The car wasn't too bad, but the acting and the plot could have used an overhaul. Besides, after all these years, the Hoff still can't act (can't sing either, but that's another thread), not that he was given a very big part, but he could have played it better.
Like the first version of KITT, I might watch it for the techno cool stuff for a while, but I don't see the TV series going very far if they don't get a rebel flag on that car, or find some cute young thing in a halter top and short-shorts to hold my attention for more than a few seconds.
Now that the writers are back, there just may be some real entertainment out there that will blow this show out of the ratings war.
