I used to get made fun of far more in the 70's when I had a crewcut. Have never been embarrassed or ashamed of shaving my head completely slick. Buddies joke with me in public all the time. Several of the other officers that shave daily and I call each other "Baldie" and "Skinhead" out in public and citizens think its hysterical. (or "Go trim those sideburns hippie!) LOL

WELL... Welcome back Sarge ! its good that your back ! you said tht gettin ol' sure sucks , BUT not gettin anyolder i think would suck worse , ya think ? and back to the post , i had a Bosworth (before they were a MULLET) and i had a 18" ponytail when i did mine . I think the one comment that stuck in my head was the lil kid next door said " HOLY S**T BATMAN, WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR HAIR ?" hell i didnt even think he knew WHO batman WAS !

I'm really surprised I stayed at that job as long as I did. Amazing what people will put up with for a steady paycheck. I so so totally much more happy now that I have taken the plunge and gone into business for myself. Being BBC just gives me more confidence ..

Coming from a guy that just went sly a couple days ago, I've been seeing people for the first time constantly. My wife and I ran to the mall and it was no big deal. I actually noticed more and more guys sportin' the look. I guess it's like when you first buy a car...you notice the same make all over the place.
I do find myself walking taller and feeling good. It's definitely been a great experience for me.
