Disadvantage - banging your head

Razor X:
This has been discussed before, but last Thursday night I was roughhousing with my dog and bumped my head.  My right temple hit the wall on a corner.  Hurt slightly for about 5 seconds and then I forgot about it.   There must have been a tad of inflammation, though, because the next morning I knicked myself with the Mach III on that exact spot and it bled profusely.

Usually when I knick myself, I know it's going to happen about a split second before it does -- but it's too late to stop it.  Usually it happens when I'm rushing or didn't apply enough shaving cream or don't have the proper grip on the razor.  This time there was no warning and it took a while for me to even remember that I'd bumped my head the night before.   It was pretty embarrassing -- everybody and their mother (and my mother too) asked what had happened.  It's starting to heal up, but I still haven't let the blade touch that spot again.  I'm shaving around it and then removing the stubble from that spot with an electric razor until the gash is healed.

SLYinKC:
Sorry to hear it, Razor.  (knock on wood) it's actually been awhile since I've had a bad one like that.  Probably means it's about to happen..... :/O

WannaBePadre:
Ugh! I did that the other day ... can't remember what I hit ... not that it was so severe as to cause memory loss, I just forgot.

Ouchies!
A way that stops bleading is if you put a dab of Vaseline®(Petroleum Jelly) on it. It doent let the blood go through it and its not (too) messy(if you do it correctley)
And I know that for a fact.. Crashing in to stuff can be very messy... expecialy on asphalt
