If you're in America, why not call it a cig?
Sorry, I was just thinking about Baseball while eating a hot dog. Thinking about getting a slice of Apple Pie from the local diner. Better hop in my Chevrolet.

When I went to Scotland with Team Schro for a golf trip, one of my brothers grew ill and had to be hospitalized for a few days. There were a couple of guys in the same wing with him and one of these guys asked the nurse, "Can I get a fag"? First off, that just sounded wrong! Secondly, how is it that you can light up in a hospital? No, I'm not making this up...Amazing stuff.

I was hanging out with some pilots of Emirates Air in NYC and they were talking about how we're (Americans) paranoid about cigs. Then proceeded to tell me that they chain smoke the whole time they are flying the planes. I couldn't believe it, but hten one of the hot flight attendants confirmed it.

Another story of my travels...
I was hanging with some British dudes in Japan and one of them dropped their cig. Then he said, thinking that it would throw me off, "It's been a while since I bent over for a fag." I had already heard the term before because I had a 5th grade teacher that referred to a cig as a fag once - about killed all of us 10 year olds from laughter.

Well, I know that in England you can't light up a fag in a hospital.

so its ok to call someone a mothermucker?
I don't see any issue with it...though I'll defer to my friends across the pond to make sure that doesn't mean something other than the literal translation.
It's not a term that I've ever heard, but I can't see anything wrong with it.
Sounds a bit daft though
