well there's:

dick butkus (obviously)
randy johnson (the big unit--a sign in the crowd when the d-backs played the yankees in the series, johnson on the mound: "it'll take more than nine yanks to beat our johnson!")
chris smelley (qb for the south carolina gamecocks--the fans printed up shirts that say "my favorite cock is smelley!")
rusty kuntz (royals first base coach)
pokey reddick (goalie for the stanley cup oilers in 1990)

on a different note, i always got a smile out of coco crisp, milton bradley, mosi tatupu... there's more, but i can't think of them right now.
