Jason Bonham - almost sly?
« on: December 10, 2007, 11:32:54 PM »
I just heard about the Led Zeppelin reunion concert today (so, I'm a little slow).  The late John Bonham's son, Jason, took his place on drums.  He appears to be sly, or at least extremely receded with everything else at an extreme buzz.  Here are some pictures from rehearsals  As far as the other guys, well they look damn worn out.

How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Great shots! Yep, J.Bo is definitely sly these days and has been for a while  O0. As for the look of the other guys... hell if HALF of the things I've read about them is true, then they look FABULOUS! Those were rumored to be some hard living, self abusing s.o.b.s...

Promiscuous Sex, DRUGS, booze, DRUGS, extensive travel, DRUGS, Making some of the best music of the last 50 years and oh yeah D-R-U-G-S! Hell, I hope I look at least that good at their ages. Though, I think ol' Jimmy Page might wanna consider going sly as well  ;D

Good find man.  O:O

In addition to what Vash said, look at Keith Moon and Mick Jagger. As they say, it ain't the years, it's the miles.

Oh so true !!!

Jason's dad--John--was one of my main influences in drumming AND partying.  I just don't barf in my sleep.

I got to see them several times in Dallas.  They were great then and I bet the concert last night was fantastic!!  Good to see Jason holding on to the legacy.

John Bonham never had nor will have any equal. No person who has sat behind a drum kit will ever be able to do the things that he did.

Interesting fact that a precursor to his untimely demise at age 32, the morning before he died, they weredriving to a rehearsal for their American tour, John downed 4 Quadruple shots of Vodka at a restaraunt that they had stopped at for breakfast.
