I don't eat chocolate: yeah, right, I'm WIERD

so you can imagine how friggin pi$$ed off I feel when I see all the stuff f'ed-up with chocolate over Christmas. Nearly every thing has it plastered over it.
Don't eat it cos it gives me migraine: and now I dont even like the smell of it.

Used to get loads of choc stuff when i first gave it up about 15 years ago, and I had to give all the damn stuff away!!

OK, I hate the half dipped cookies that everybrings over during the holidays

What are the point of these? One side has a wonderful tasting chocolate suprise and the other taste like you are eating dusty cardboard. I have two bites and throw the rest away. At this point, why not bringer over chocolate chip cookies or even oreos. Don't bring these half-assed cookies, becase it's not my fault that you go to a lazy baker.
(It think this might make the Noner Blog.)

Warhawk,
Have you ever had real home made fruitcake? Not the mass produced bricks the stores sell, but made from scratch? Years ago a friend of mine made some. She fermented the fruit herself, and I gotta say, it was good stuff.
You got a problem with that?
LOL
I was just going to say the same thing but you beat me to it. My aunt in England makes wonderful fruitcakes. She usually brings one with her when she comes to visit or makes one for me to take home with me when I go over there. It is not even the same species as the tinned crap we see on this side of the pond.
Homemade fruitcake with almond paste icing and a nice milky cup of PG Tips ... it's like a little bit of heaven.

FRUITCAKES. matter of fact...i don't know anyone who likes them.WARHAWK
Well, now you do. I love them, but it has to be from the Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, TX. Maybe you've never had a good one.
www.collinstreet.com
I have had those and they aren't bad, but still not in the same league as homemade.

I cant really say there is anything ..food wise that I hate recieving. I like COCONUT ( actually when I was in Haiti I found a coconut..broke it open..drank teh milk and ate teh raw coconut....the haitian kids looked at me like i was nuts) Oh well. anyways...those half dipped cookies...watch it...my wife and I make an almond cresant moon shaped cookies that are dipped in choc on one end...and powered sugar on the other. LOL... I will be sure to send some to everyone. Oh yeah and those coconut maccaroons with the cherry in the middle....damn those just melt in your mouth. Coconut cream pie is good too. LOL..I know im jsut rubbin it in here now.....but its fun. BUt as I am sittin here typing I did come up with one thing I hated getting....I use to deliver newspapers when I was younger and I would always get those Lifesaver " BIBLES" ya know that has like 10 rolls of lifesavers in them. Well, I wouldnt ever get the life saver brand...i would always get the off brand. One year I got a watch from one of my customers...But I think the only reason why I got it was because I was always late delivering the paper....cause I would have to play on the tracks....skip rocks across teh pond or play with my friends along the way. What would take normaly an hour would take me 3 hours to finish. WOW where did this post go? damn i really went off on a tangent on this one...Oh well...Here ya go ..you can have it back now! LOL

I don't like homemade baked goods that co-workers try to gift to you this time of year. Keep that stuff to yourself. A couple of my coworkers agree that no good can come out of some of these people's kitchens. We always ditch out on the department potlucks and meet at a decent restaurant.

It's weird, I love coconut, but pina colads or anything pina colada flavored makes me literally sick.

Being polish, every one in my family makes kieflies (not sure about the spelling on that). They don't taste bad so much, but they're so damn dry that you need a quart of milk or egg nog just to get one down. Now Kolach is better, uses same filling, but it's alot more moist.
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, they're both pastries made with a sweet nut filling topped with confectionary sugar.

clothes that I didn't ask for, or money simply because no one took the time to find something I like. In certain cases money is ok, but i'd prefer to receive a gift I asked for instead.
