I'll post again once I receive and get to try the product, but I wanted to post about the great customer service this company provides.

As the product is not sold in Canada, I looked into ordering direct. I couldn't tell from the website what the shipping cost would be to Canada so I emailed them to find out. They got back to me very quickly. I then ordered from the site, but what came up after I entered my payment information did not agree with what they had told me. I emailed again to let them know about the issue and that I would have to cancel my order as the shipping made the transaction not worth it. They again replied very quickly. They let me know that there was a problem with the site, that they were working with the webmaster to fix it, that they'd void my transaction and they'd let me know when they got it sorted out. I replied to thank them and to let them know I'd order as soon as the web issue was resolved. They emailed me again (again a very quick response) to let me know that I shouldn't have to wait and that they were sending me out a sample right away.

In all, it was less than two hours from my first email to them and to the final email that the product was on its way.

It's all too rare that we see such great customer service these days (In particular, getting this type of service to a Canadian customer from a US vendor), so I wanted to publicly acknowledge them.

Sorry didn't post again sooner.  My Shave Secret arrived in early Feb and I've been using it ever since.

I don't use it for my head shaves, just face.  I tried it several ways:
1. alone - this worked very well. my only issue was lack of a visual cue as to where I had already shaved
2. mixed with shave cream (Bigelow) - this worked well, just slightly better than the cream alone, not better than the oil alone
3. massage oil in first and then apply cream - this worked the best for me.

What really made the biggest difference for me was after shaving, rinse and dry was to use 2 drops to massage in as an 'aftershave' (this was suggested in the instructions that came with it). This along with option 3 has taken care of the razor burn issues I've recently been having around my chin.

I also want to mention that the company has great customer service. Very quick to respond to emails and deal with any questions or concerns (I had some concerns about the shipping to Canada, but they resolved them quickly and beyond any expectations).

I just picked up 2 bottles last night.  Funny story which I'll post in a new thread.

It was about $4 at Walmart including tax. Oh, my first bottle lasted 4 months, 4 drops per day/shave.

I have been using SS for 6 months and really like it.
I bought it online from their website, it was shipped free to the other side of the pond
However today I went on a small ´shopping tour`at a Tesco shop in the
UK and bought a small bottle of KOS Shaving oil.
Besides that I got a KOS Super Face Scrub and a Face Wash from Bulldog.....so plenty of new things to try out over the weekend!!!!

I did not find the difference dramatic, but I still use Shave secret daily.  I think there is some difference and thus I like it.

Used Shave Secret for the first time yesterday. Wow. I'm excited about using it again as it made shaving my dome so much faster and easier. Recommending it to all of my Sly buds...

And it is cheap ... $4 for a bottle. I use it daily and have only used half the bottle in 6 weeks.

Thanks for the tip, Tyler. I'll look for the stuff next time I'm at Wal Mart.

OK, I picked up a bottle at Wal Mart today.  Just got out of the shower; here's my $0.02.

I friggin' LOVE this stuff!

I planned to use it under some cream, but decided to try it alone, per the instructions.  Using 9 drops and a new Schick Quatro 4 blade I proceeded to shave.

Incredible!  No more cream; this is my new oil!

Thanks for this thread and the recommendations!
