I've been getting a flu shot for the last 10 years. Never had a bad reaction until last year. I had a sore arm and a bad cough that wouldn't go away until Thanksgiving.
So last week I thought I'd change my course of action. Instead of going to my regular doc, I went to my church and got the shot there. Hate to say it but my doctor always jabs that needle deep into my arm. Ouch!
The nurse at the church did a more professional job. I didn't even feel the injection. No pain, and it's not sore at all.
Funny thing, I've never had the flu. But having school-aged kids, I want to play it safe and be precautious.
