hello fellow chrome domes....just wondering...have u run into your barber since u did the deed? i'll start: my barber was the one that gave me the smooooth noggin' back in april 24, 2007 & he did a couple more headshaves after that but the last time i saw my barber was probably in may. b4 that i used 2 get my haircut every week or every 2 weeks. the funny thing is that i drive by his barbershop daily because its near my home. i'll probably visit him b4 the year is over just 2 check in with him. he's one of those kool old retired navy guys that's full of energy.
so...how 'bout u? when was the last time u saw your barber? have u run into him/her since going sly? what's your story?

Never really had a regular barber before SLYdom. I would just drop into No Appointment or Style America, whatever I was close to. I hated taking time out to get a haircut. My mop would end up pretty shaggy sometimes.

I used to go to a Great Clips near my house every 2 weeks. I still take my sons there. The manager there told me it was guys like me that were going to put her out of business.

Haven't gone into the place where I used to get my hair cut (Fantastic Sams at Coal Mine and Pierce).
But I've purposely taken detours at the mall or elsewhere just to mess with them and generate a chuckle or two.

The last time I saw Mr. Louis was 9/14, when he buzzed it down the second time. After that I grabbed the clipper myself, until 10/12 when I buzzed at #0, then lathered and applied the Fusion Power. I have been thinking about stopping by and letting him know, but I don't know. I really like the guy, it was a relationship going back more than 15 years. A new type of sitting on the fence, I should, but I don't know. I do know that absent something I can't concieve of, I'm not letting what's left grow out.

I saw mine about 2 months after going sly. Since I had been an every 3 weeker, he knew something was up. And then he said someone had told him. He said he thought it looked great.

I usually shave my head at home with Mach 3, but I really like the old-fashioned barbershops sometimes for a change. Love the ritual of a smooth headshave at a barber, lathering etc. Did one of these this week and got out of the shop bald to the bone!
