Yeah, welcome Johannes! I was waiting for our first real Straight Razor shaver to join.  Hopefully you can enlighten us on the benefits of using a straight razor.

I can see using a straight razor for the face, but I think I lack the... courage to use a straight razor to shave my head. ???

Welcome Johannes, we've talked before.  I use a straight on my face, but could never get the knack of using one on my head.   Some day I'll have to post pictures of my straight razor collection.

I once had my head shaved with a straight razor when I visited a barber in NYC.  He did my whole face and head.  I have to admit that I was a little tense when he first started on my face, but one he got to my head I was relaxed.

I read an article years ago on how to use the straight razor to shave a face, but didn’t act on it because I was unable to find a straight razor at the time.  Now I have seen a Razor shops in my travels and online shopping has definitely opened several other places to find a straight razor.  I would love the opportunity to learn how to use one.
