Mike, Welcome to the SBG site, and a great way to jump in to it. Good to see you took a path that is positive for you, and glad you could find some encouragement here. That's what we do.
And the beard looks great, nice attachment to goatee. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Hey thanks guys for the comments! I have been so busy with work I got back about an hour ago and the first thing I did was eat and then I got on here! Thanks again for the comments on the slick look and my beard. I am wondering how I would look if I kept the sides of my beard short and grew out my goatee what do you guys think???

I say this is always a good way to look at a goat...
with a stache, a bit older look
without and only a bottom goat, a bit younger look..
totally without really younger look..
that's why I'm "Mr. Cleanin' these days

Hey man, and welcome. It can be fun to experiment with the beard / goatee. To me the 'burning question' is 'what to do about the transition area around the ears. Abrupt cut off? gradual fade? The othr day; I went too far down; trying to angle it so that it got narrower toward the top of the ear. ended up with a glorified goatee that moved halfway up the side of my face. So I didn't shave at all for a week (head and beard; well; actually; five days), then went at it again more carefully. now have a gradual fade from middle to top of ear. ...

Hey thanks guys like I said if it wasn't for all of you I would not have had the courage to shave it off!
BY THE WAY I never even actually introduced myself. I recently just graduated from college and am currently working as an IT Auditor. As for my interests, I love hunting, paintballing, off roading, working on my car, and just about any type of outdoor activity.

Welcome to the forum Mike.
Regarding the goatee, I'd say give it a try, see how you like it.
Looks cool with the trimmed beard.

Hey Mike, sorry I am late getting to your intro, but Welcome to the Sly Bald Guy family. That was a great intro, being Sly is all about being confident in yourself and I'm glad this site helped to bring that out, but I suspect that you were always confident in yourself, you just needed to push it to the surface. SO again WELCOME!!
