Fusion Blades at Costco
« on: September 21, 2007, 07:45:59 PM »
I just got back from a short shopping trip to Costco tonight and I ran accross a great "bargain".  They have the Fusion Power Phantom with 4 blades and including a Duracel AAA battery for $9.76.  That almost $3 less than just the blades at Wal-Mart.  Plus you get the Razor and battery.  I didn't need another razor, but at this price, I couldn't pass it up.  So, if you have a Costco in your area and you're a Fusion user, you might want to check this one out.

SlyinKC, great find bro! I would've bought a couple of those things for the cost of the cartridges alone.

In Ohio, the closest Costco was in Cincinatti, almost 4 hours drive from Toledo and I never got a chance to go there!! Will hopefully get over to one next year when we come back in July.

My experience with the blades at the SAM's clubs in our area is the blades aren't any better prices than the Walmarts.  They just sell in such big quantities that you have to bring a calculator to make an apples to apples comparison.  Just my 2 cents..

If I remember correctly they were came out to about $2 per blade.  You can always just go in and wander around to check prices without going through the membership process.

Just an update.  I was out at Costco today and the $9.76 Fusion package were  now $17.76.  And I checked their price on the mega pack of like 30 blades came out to $2.38/blade.  Still cheaper than Walmart if you don't mind buying in bulk.

Wow $37 for 16 blades?  I use the atra ripoffs at Walmart for my headblade and pay $1.86 for 10 of them.  I've never understood why razor blades have to be so expensive.
