Did not shave my head this year
Semi-Sly:
This is the first year and probably 25 that I didn?t shave my head for at least the winter months all of my friends and especially my colleagues at the Barbershop pressured me to keep the Flattop. They tell me that a shave head just makes me look like every other old man in Florida Whereas the Flattop is good for business in the Barbershop.
They?re probably right on both counts, but I?ll tell you if I really miss that feeling of getting my head shaved and having a clean smooth dome if somebody knocked on my front door this morning and offered to shave my head I?d let them in a heartbeat!

I made it almost 4 months without shaving and finally shaved my head a week ago. While it felt amazing, I missed the flattop. It was hard to adjust to seeing myself completely bald again.
I haven't shaved for 3 days, so this morning I think I'll shave the sides and back for a high and tight recon look.

I let my hair grow this year as well. I finally retired in December and just took a break from shaving.
Unfortunately, no flattop, just a horseshoe. But I could not take it anymore so a couple if days ago it cot buzzed off and shaved smooth.
But If I could grow a flattop like you two, I would have kept it for a while. Al least until the hot summer months (which will start here in just 6 to 8 weeks).

I'm doing the same, but to try a new look. Just a little bit of hair that I won't have to style.
Razorhead:
I took a break too, but I'm ready to start buzzing it down and shaving since it's getting warmer out. Definitely need to shave by May -- that's my rule to avoid weird tan lines.
