This. To me a buzzed or a shaved bald head looks cleaner and younger than hanging on to some remaining strands. I haven't reached that stage...yet.

If I do, I'll just shave or lazer it off (if it's feasible).

Razorhead:
Even some guys struggle with the buzzcut. Not sure why. Maybe it's a fear of change. But in reality, we put that pressure on ourselves. You just have to go for it at some point.

With the right cut, longer buzz on top and tighter sides --  like a #2 or #3 top with faded sides -- would look better than longer strands. I would think longer hair would be more of a nuisance to deal with as it's harder to keep in place.  And I can't see using hairspray to plaster it down.
