Day 10 of 30 day rule (before and after photos)

Quick update on my 30 days. Currently 1/3 through and going strong. I have had mostly positive reactions, some friends and family are not enjoying the look but it is what it is. I feel a lot better at shaving and have even started shaving against the grain. The results are great. I have attached before and after photos.

Congratulations on your first ten days.  The first time I shaved mine, I started growing it back after a couple of days.  I went back and forth for a couple of years before I made it to 30 days.  I’ve kept mine shaved for three years now and don’t plan on ever growing my hair back again.  Thirty days is a good time frame for getting used to your new look and shaving routine.

Congrats on being shaved for 10 days. It looks great. I think your friends and family will adjust to your new look. Plus, you started a new job. Just think, everyone going forward that you meet will know you as a bald guy and will not know you as a guy with hair. I started out as BBC and Just about everyone I deal with on a daily basis only knows me as a bald guy and that happened pretty quickly.

Was your hair that long when you went to the barbers to have  it shaved off? That’s a big change if so. Love it.

I agree, everyone i have met since has had no issues with it and has just perceived me as a bald guy. Yes, my hair was that long before i shaved it off. I went to a veteran owned barbershop for the shave and sat in the chair and said I wanted a full head shave and he just went right down the middle with the clippers and finished with a straight razor. Overall the best haircut experience i have ever had.

Well, I can see why some people question your new look, you had a great head of hair! Don't worry, everyone will get used to your haircut. It happens to us BBC guys because we were not balding before shaving.

I was the same as you, I loved my bald head after the first shave. As long as you continue to like sporting a baldie haircut, keep it! I will tell you that the longer you keep shaving, like many of us, it becomes addictive! It's fun to try different products and razors.
