How do you fight the "itch" to shave it all off and start all over again?

Told BF thoughts of shaving beard... showed pics of just mustache.

The look on his face said it all.

So that would be a NO! LOL

If my opinion counts, I agree with BF.  I am a beard guy and have always admired full beards.

Right now the beard looks great, and getting lots of good feedback, but I am DYING to shave it off. The joke is that I always regret it for a few weeks.

I never shaved the mustache in the 37 years of being bearded. This time I am dying for a clean sweep.

Advice?

Can't fight it man!  Once the urge sets in, it's in and doesn't leave you alone until you shave.  Two years is a long time but it is what it is.

I vote for not fighting inches - it can be fun to indulge them! Last year I wore a full beard for about six months and then one day I took out her of clippers and cut the whole middle out of it into big mountain chps and to my surprise I got all kinds of compliments!  since then I’ve gone to a cowboy stash and I’m back to a goatee when I shave my head again at the end of the month I’m gonna go to something between a full beard and a goatee with a beard fading to zero as it moves away from my mouth

Change is good!
