You are probably right.  I had a confluence of events: first, the St. Baldrick's event was being organized by a former colleague; second, a friend's son had just been diagnosed with leukemia and third, I had been interested in trying a head shave for several years as my MPB progressed.

After I shaved my head for charity, I knew it was a look I wanted to keep permanently.  It's now been over ten years and I have never regretted it.
