@chuck63 Thanks for sharing your story and I have read a few of your posts. When did you feel that you were ready to be a permanent bald guy (i.e. to go for scalp laser hair removal)? It is certainly a big decision to go for it.

Did others notice the difference (i.e. the no shadow look)?

If you go for electrolysis, that would be an interesting experience. I have heard of guys going for tweezing after laser hair removal to become completely bald.

I have decided to keep my head shaved bald and hope to be bald for life. That said, I am not at the stage to go for scalp laser hair removal. I am just interested in other people's experience.

I had stayed shaven for three years before going the laser route.  I was left with some patchy dark areas after the first 3-4 treatments.  It?s been a couple of years and I?m still pretty much shadow free.  I have quite a bit of white hair left.  It?s easier to shave now, but it would be nice to not have to shave every day.

Will I recommend that guys get their cheek line and their neck line lasered while their beard still has full color that way they always look well groomed and never have to put up with the hassle of daily shaving
