I’m thinking about getting laser hair removal done on my scalp.   I have some dark hair mixed with grey.  I think it would be nice to stay bald without having to shave as often.

Same here mine is lighter so Long term goal when I can afford is to get it lasered off.

It does not work well on light color hair as it does on dark hair and it does not work on the gray hairs at all!

what's up everyone? this forum seemed like it's pretty much dead. I'd really like to hear from the people who have gone through laser treatment. How's the result guys? are you guys still going for touch up?

I've thought about doing that, but only if I start balding for sure.  Not now if I want to let my hair grow and I want a new look.

Laser is a major step, especially if you still have a lot of hair.  I went for it after shaving my head for four years and don't regret it.  But, it's a decision I did not arrive at casually and after the first laser session, nearly all the dark hair on the sides and top was gone, so I passed the "point of no return" after one treatment!

Yeah, that's why for me it will be a last resort if I really start losing my hair for good. I rather have a clean smooth bald head than a few thinning strands over my head.

I understand your reservations since you still have a full head of hair.  But remember, if your hair turns gray, laser will no longer be an option.  But a lot of us actually enjoy the shaving.

I'm that case, either I won't have too much gray hair by the time I have major hair loss or just continue to shave.
