Absolutely.  The key is to not give in to the temptation to grow your hair back in the early days.  If you hang in there long enough, everyone will stop thinking about you as someone who recently shaved his head.  Instead you'll be just another bald guy.  They may never love the look, but they will eventually shut up about it.

Just a bit of a side note guys. I tried for the first time, since going sly, shaving in the shower. I shaved with the Johnsons and Johnsons 24hr moisturiser Body wash and Shave. So far it was a success, no great irritation from the shave. There was one downside to it, I accidentally got the stuff in my eyes, and let me tell you. OUCH. I was using my head blade for the job.

I'll try no to worry about what other people think. My parents will calm down about it.
