Art of Shaving scheduled!

I treat myself once or twice a year. This is a high end product shop with a single barber chair in a fancy mall.

They use a straight razor, towels, hot and cold, etc. And it takes an hour. I'm scheduled for next week and can't wait to be as smooth as a piece of glass. LOL

The premium head shave is $75 while the standard is $45. The GF is spending the day at the spa and I'm getting my premium shave same time. Thank you tax rebate.

The question must be asked though...what are the 4 elements of the perfect shave?

It's a great experience...Pricey but worth it....I've been to the one in Houston (when I had tournaments there) twice...Great experience, and I hooked the barber up afterward with a nice tip....There is one closer to home (Baton Rouge) for me, but that one isn't as discreet as the one in Houston, as that one you can see through the window....Not that it's a big deal, but I don't care for that big of an audience when getting my head shaved. Enjoy it, and let us know how it goes!

I can think of four elements of the perfect shave when I'm using my DE razor:
1) Fresh blade
2) Music
3) Tasty beer
4) Time (no interruptions from family)
