Thanks JDog. After today you're one of my favorite people. I'm curious what the post you retracted said; but I can well imagine!
As far as the wetshaving DE thing goes; I'm doing it old school. I'm using the Merkur Antique Style DE razor and I'm whipping up shaving cream with a brush and a cake of shaving soap. I love it. One really nice aspect to it is the cost of the double edge razor blades compared to, say, the Fusion blades. If you buy them off of ebay you can get 100 of them for around $10.00. So I basically shave every other day lately and I'm able to use a brand new blade every time. I get my stuff from this site:

Reid, do you have to use a new blade each time, or is that your preference?
Also, how many shaves is it possible to get on average with one blade?, I would be using it on my face only.
I also love the idea of using a brush and shaving soap, but I don't think it would be advantageous in the morning routine timewise.

Using a blade only once is just my preference, since they're so affordable. As to how many shaves I could actually get out of a blade, I'm really not sure as I've never tried it. If I were to guess I would say probably in the vicinity of 3-5.
Reid!
Hey! It's great to see the "Opinionated Walrus." What brought you here? Did you find that 'other bald site' becoming a bit dull?
Naw, but I think you can never have too many friends!
