I do the odd bit of MTBing,i have a really old Cannondale which i recently put some Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres on (1.35) to ride to work on.Its about 6 miles each way.
I would love a road bike but cant justify the ££.

I ride alot but i've been slacking this summer. Normaly I ride 25 miles everyday. In the fall I ride 180 km and raise money for the Lung Association but for some reason this year it was canceled. I think thats how I lost my motivation. I'm trying to get back into it before it gets cold.

I ride the stationary bike at the gym, usually do it for an hour, about 23 miles.
I have also been doing spinning classes, great work out and the time goes by so fast, with a good instructor it is the best.
I am just not comfortable riding on the streets anymore I just can't relax when doing it.

my buddy from high school's dad started a 100mile foot race to bring money into the town. he added a bike race to it before i moved back here. cole and i were the test dummies that found the course. we were riding about 400 miles a week. wish i could get back into that shape.here is a link for the race website.
http://www.leadvilletrail100.com/ maybe if someone decides to ride or run it i can come up there and help them out.

I'm a mountain biker.

Have a Fezzari (Abajo Peak Pro).
It's a great cross-country high-performance bike.

Nice! I'll probably hit you up after the first of the year to get some advice on picking out a bike to ride.

I used to do a lot of road biking - primarily riding a Cannondale. They have a 100 miler in Wichita Falls, TX each year called the Hotter N Hell 100. It's a biotch, especially if the temperature, humidity and wind all mix it up. Haven't biked much in recent years. Need to get back on it.
