RE: unsure of what to do next...

How’s it going everyone, first time poster. I am a 20 y/o college student dealing with the lovely stress of finals. I had noticed on 2 separate occasions over the last month that my hair is thinning out on the temples and top. After the first occasion I got a haircut and all seemed to be well, just for me to notice it happen again a few weeks later. I have also been dealing with some GERD/acid reflux issues.. My main question is to anyone who has tried, should I go towards the route of trying to save my hair? Or bite the bullet and shave it off? I have gone back and forth on this, the only thing holding me back from shaving is my already-high forehead and head shape (I have a long, skinny head with a high forehead and low set ears), I will try to link a picture eventually. Anything helps
