@Tyler  Curious what was the fix?

@Magoo It turned out to be an ad that was coming through one of the ad networks that I was using. It was really tricky and only targeted iPads. It also compounded the issue when it would try to load 2 or more of the same overlay ads at the same time. This is why you guys couldn't close it.

@Tyler , I had asked my son about the problem , he works as a computer forensic tech and that was what he basically had said.  Thanks for the fix.

The ad network has assured me that they've blocked the ad from showing up. If this happens again let me know and I'll pull the code.
