Just thought I'd introduce myself.
I've been sly before, but typically only when I have a bad attack of alopecia, but I'm thinking I might keep it this time.
At the very least I'll give it the 30 days and see from there, but usually the alopecia attacks last longer than that anyway.
I've been lucky to only have had a few attacks that have been extensive enough to warrant shaving as I have a mild case, but I came to terms with hair issues a long time ago.
It ain't gonna kill me, and things could be a lot worse. In the grand scheme of things it's nothing more than a small inconvenience.
It's just hair right.
Anyway, just stopped by to say hello.
Welcome! Alopecia can be quite something, but you handled it well, and sly suits you
I've been lucky as it's only a mild case that comes and goes.
The first time freaked me out, and I did everything I could to try and hide it.
I tried different hairstyles, grew it longer, dyed my hair, even got intra-scalp injections from the dermatologist to help trigger remission.
Eventually I ended up shaving my head.
As an actor/musician this was tough as it limited the roles I was considered for because of my look, but I came to terms with it and moved past any attachment to my hair.
If it was there, great. If not, fine.
Like I said I'm lucky.
Some people have it worse, and for women it must be even more challenging.

Welcome. Maybe you will remain BBC during the 'good hair times' and semi-BBN when your alopecia comes around.
As an actor, you'd fit right in for Daddy Warbucks or Kojak and some of the other great roles of bald guys.
Thanks mrzed!
I'm no longer an actor, but I'd like to get back to doing it part time in the future.
I think I'd be a great fit for those roles, and for the others, well...there's always wigs.
I'm liking the sly look, and I think I'll hang onto it for a while regardless of what my hair decides to do.
Welcome to " The NO HAIR FOR MEN CLUB ". LoL
Well, that's a good way to deal with alopecia! Hope you're enjoying!
