Gel cream recommendations

• Having not shaved at all for q number of years before going sly, I now have to buy some shaving gel/cream.  What would you guys recommend?

  Mike makes some nice soaps with mild fragrances.  Get a good shaving brush and lather up.

• I honestly prefer to shave in the shower and use a conditioner as my base. My wife uses WEN so I've made a habit out of using that the past few years and I get a really close shave.
  
  Additionally it keeps my head moisturized.
