How to get whole head to feel completely smooth
«

I started shaving a few weeks ago. I haven't been able to keep up with it as much as I would like. I have noticed that I find it difficult to get quite a few places completely slick. Is this a normal thing or is there something that I can try to make it seem like I am getting the closest shave possible? Thank you in advance!

I usually feel along with one hand and shave with the other. Also I have to change directions for many areas. Make sure you keep 're-lathering. There is usually one small spot you can never seem to get totally smooth.

I am using the headblade atx. Would that be part of the problem? Do I need to add something else to my routine?

I use the Headblade Sport or the ATX with the Sport blades. (Yes they seem to work better for me).
My 'temple' area hair seems to grow very fast and it's hard to keep that spot smooth.
Fresher blades do help.
Keep lathering. Go over spots in multiple directions.

Is there some chance that no matter how many times and how many directions some spots just don't get completely slick? I don't to get my scalp irritated by repeatedly going over it. I would like to get really good at shaving my head, but for whatever reason it seems like it takes me quite a while and doesn't ever seem to be completely smooth.

t take some time to "learn" your head and which direction to shave to get the closest shave. I still have small areas behind my ears that I have a hard time getting smooth.

Behind my left ear never gets perfectly smooth. Just let it go.

I've been shaving my head for more than a decade, and I don't think I've ever had a completely smooth dome. For most men, there's always going to be a patch that just won't get smooth. For me, it's on the side of my head, just above my left ear.

I'd love if I could get my head totally smooth, but I imagine it'll never happen. Just shoot for as good as you can.

I've been getting some seriously great shaves lately with my ATX. But after a great, smooth shave I can always find a patch or two that are slightly rough. You're the only one that will notice them, though.
