The dollar shave club
« on: October 09, 2015, 05:48:03 AM »
Good morning

Has anyone tried the dollar shave club. I have always used the Gillette fusion but I have recently ordered the six blade version of the dollar shave club and wanted to try it. Has anyone else tried this.

Roger

Have a great Day.

I tried them a few years back and wrote a review (that I can't find with a quick search) about their 4-blade razor. My conclusion was:
  • Good value for the money if you are looking to save $.
  • Not as good as the Mach 3 if you'd rather spend the $ for a better shave.
So I still use the Mach 3.

I bought the four blade a while ago. The razor had the standard pivoting head of most rallies. It was OK, but I have been spoiled by the Fusion ProGlide's ability to move side to side as well as pivoting up and down.

For me, the ease of the ProGlide is worth the higher cost of its blades.
