Going bald with a strange head shape
«

Hey, I'm 21 and going bald with a strange head shape. My head isn't very round, it's longer than it should be, like, the head continues for a few more centimeters instead of curving and going down to my neck, well you'll see from my pictures. From above it looks ok, but from the side you can clearly see it looks weird.
My question is what should I do to make it less noticeable, clean shave or trim? Thank you

There's nothing wrong with the shape of your head. Almost every guy who contemplates shaving his head thinks it is too big or too oddly shaped, and the in the overwhelming majority of cases, the problem is in his own mind.

I am going to echo Razor's statement.
I see nothing strange about your head's shape. You don't need to worry about it.

Welcome to the group!
I only can see a little receding at the corners...The short buzz where you are is not that bad, and headshape is just a mindset by all of us. That said, if you want to pull out the razor just for curiosity, go for it! You can always grow it back if you don't like it!

Let's hope so guys, I'm still very young. Noticed I was balding right after being released from the military. Studying for a B.A in medical laboratory science now, afraid I won't have success with women.

Absolutely. Go for it. That short buzz you have now will grow back in about a week so it's not a huge risk.

Your head shape looks quite good to me. Try a shave. You'd be be back to your short buzz in no time if you didn't like it. But you probably will!

I'm still hunting for the weird head shape. Can't see it.
Will you ever get a date? See the UK guy's video that was posted recently. The girls only fuss about the guys with the comb overs and those trying to hide their balding.
With a bald head you will look some years older than you are. That's a plus.
It's a great conversation starter. You have a bald head, but you have to wear a hair net (perhaps) to keep the hair that you don't have from falling into your lab experiment. People will laugh about it. (It's like the bald butcher having to wear a hair net to keep the hair that he does not have from falling into the meat).
Your head looks great. Will look even better when you shave it. And as pointed out, if after 30 days you decide you are not ready for it, you'll be back to your current length in about 1 week. Really easy to do. I bet you'll like it.

your head shape is fine and you look great shaven, stay with it, as mentioned your attitude with women is more important than hair style. Actually some women really dig shaven heads on guys.

I'm sure Jason Statham asked the same question.
Yes!
