Two weeks of not shaving from December 13-27....Don't want to bore you with the long story but here is what my MPB looks like even with SMP

I've been off work - and off my normal routine- all week.  I went to the gym Monday morning and showered there and ended up not shaving.  Same thing happened Tuesday.  Was going to shave when I got home but never did. By this morning the stubble was feeling pretty thick.  Let's just say it wasn't pretty.

Since September of 2018, I had been growing out the fringe.  This is the longest that I had gotten it!  I will say that I thought I looked good with the fringe grown out!  I was even considering g growing it long!  But finally it just seemed that I was missing the cleaness of the sly look!  I also trimmed up the beard too!  But here are some photos of various stages of hair growth.  But I will say that while I started shaving when I was just receding, there is not much left on top!  I had some strands but cut them off!

Since I started shaving, I have never been able to grow more that 3 weeks worth of stubble.  And I only did that once to just see how my MPB had progressed.   I started shaving at the first sign of thinning, and after 5 years, my top was similar to yours.

@marshd1000 it worked well for the Santa outfit.

I've let mine go for a few days from time to time just to see if it is grayer or thinner - it usually is. Yours looks good with the beard.

I hope that your recovery is a quick one!!
Ha! Doing the same, watching for the gray. But I'm getting solid hints of that in my beard!

I'm prob NW6+ by now, the more thinning the better. The less to shave. ha!
