Antis T Outliner vs. Wahl Balding vs. ?

• Hello,
  
  I recently went slick and my wife and I both agree that we prefer the look of 3-4 days of growth to totally bald.  I've read about the Wahl Balding Clippers as well as the Andis T Outliner for head shaving and was wondering which would be preferable?
  
  The one advantage to the Andis is I could use it for beard trimming, but that's not a deal breaker as I currently just use a straight razor.
  
  Thoughts?  Pics of the cuts?  Thanks!

• I swear by the Andis, but if you feel like splurging, Panasonic or Braun foil shavers are used by a friend of mine as well as a few members here (I was going to buy one, but a more pressing need came up)

• The foil shavers will be more of a completely smooth/shaved look though right?  Which will give me the 3-4 day stubble look?

• I've already hit day 7, so maybe I'll go slick one more time to test it out.  I guess I'm just trying to see how short the Wahl's and the Andis cut, before making a choice.  I tried to search youtube, but couldn't find anything.

• Hard to say. I've never owned a Wahl. The pictures above were with the grain after I had stitches removed. I would say you have to have at least a week's growth to get that result in the pictures above.

• I used to have the Braun and shaved regular with it. It can make you almost bald / smooth so that wouldn't suit you. Obviously you have looked on Youtube?

  I have a set and they cut down to about 2/3 days growth.
  
  If you got time to spare and want 2 days growth, then look for the Wahl Detailers (Smaller, but get the T wider blade).
  
  I currently use a Panasonic ES-RF31 Foil Shaver, which totally balds the head.
  
  I now use the Wahl Detailers for shaping my short beard!
