Gone astry but I'm back and sly

Hello All. It has been a WHILE since I have visited the site. I took a break from being sly (bbc) and grew out my hair. I never shaved daily consistantly. I decided to take the plunge again and shave every day for the rest of time. (I am just really sick of hair after my break from shaving) I do notice after a week in of shaving every 24 hours I still have the shaddow even after I shave. Will this ever go away?

Welcome back, with dark thick hair and pale skin you are more likely to have a shadow, it will lessen somewhat as your scalp tans up a bit. Being that you are BBC unlike me I can't give a 1st person idea of the shadow, cos I don't get one.

So long as, like me, you have relatively pale skin, relatively dark hair and little to no hair loss, you will have a shadow, at least unless and until your hair starts turning white. Dem's da breaks...I've learned to accept my shadow as inevitable.

The shadow remains. I'm BBC. Although my beard is getting quite white, the hair on my head still has solid color. Runs in the family. The first 24 hours after a shave, the shadow is pretty minimal, but after that, it's noticeable. I just live with it. I enjoy the smooth feel of a freshly shaved head so much, and the bold look of bald, that I just savor the headshave.
No one fusses about the shadow.

I do love the style but I have a "resting mean face" the mean actually start with a B... But with a shaved head and goatee I just look like I am always MAD. But that's just my face. Haha. Anyways. I guess I have to live with the shadow, because I always find my way back to being bbc.

It's nice to see you back, Vogi. I wouldn't worry about that resting mean face. A smile easily transforms that.

You can't have worse resting b___ face than January Jones on "Mad Men." So there's that.

Glad to see you back, Vogi. The shadow will remain as long as your hair is dark. My hair is almost completely white, so I really do not have a shadow. Goatee is looking good as well. Any plans for growing the handlebar back?

Welcome back Vogi. Will you be posting YouTube videos again as some of the shaving ones you did were informative and interesting?
